The Big Green Egg is the BBQ version of a crock-pot.  I set up my spareribs at around 1:00 and then took my son to a couple/few hours of soccer play.  I returned and checked the grill.  Everything was just as I'd left it, perfect.  The rest of the day was watching football and doing chores centered around the TV.  Great day and great ribs.

  1. Very nice. Beautiful ribs! Now, what might a person do if it was....say...raining during that day while trying to BBQ on that egg? Wouldnt rain water get in the top vent cover?
